Blogging as a blogger; choosing school over conference calling and stipends.

I'm new to blogging. I have a twitter, which has a 140 character limit, and its useful, but its difficult to quite get across exactly what I have to say. If you have read any of my other posts you will know I go on a little, but that's my style! I ramble and I'm opinionated.

What really got me into the blogging mindset was crawling around Craigslist one night looking for anything i could take part in, whether it be writing, acting or anything creative, one caught my eye;

'Video Game Blogger/Ambassador'

'Interesting' I thought to myself, but I haven't played video games properly in some time, so I thought I had fallen too out of the loop to be of any use. I read it anyway and discovered two options.

'Staff blogger'
This required all sorts of hard work, 1-3 submissions a day, conference calling, and i would have to reference them in reposts. 'Fine,' I thought, 'for if I wasn't in education.' But it just wasn't for me.

'Guest blogger'
I get sent a topic to write about and have 350 words to talk about it, which was pretty cool, i opted for this idea, but I think I'll probably take up a staff position when I have myself more free time...

Oh, and just to do a bit of advertisement, the website I am now guest blogging for is www.twistedelfinc.com, its a great source of games news and interesting stuff! Check it out blog bitches!
